We currently have two regular shooting grounds: inside Axton Chase School during the winter season; and the field at Meopham School all year round. The club currently has 32 active members. Before becoming a member you must take a four week training course. Under sixteen’s need to be accompanied by an adult at all times. All coaches are fully trained and have done the required G.N.A.S (Grand National Archery Society) courses. Once you have completed the training course, you will be given a members handbook and a certificate. You will also receive a G.N.A.S card if you become part of the club (you will need to buy annual insurance to shoot). You will not need to purchase a bow or arrows until you feel you will continue shooting on a regular basis.we have also recently become affiliated with club mark and are one of only 17 archery clubs in the uk currently affiliated with the scheme.
